What do we mean when we talk about the autonomy of minors and young adults? What are the limits they face to reach autonomy? How can we activate autonomy pathways for young boys and girls? How can the INTEGRA network facilitate this process? Which actors do you think should be involved in the network? How can we strengthen the network?<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We discussed about these topics on 7 November 2019 at the Municipality of Palermo, together with the members of the INTEGRA network <\/strong>and the international partners of the INTEGRA project<\/a> during the presentation event of the situation of unaccompanied minors and young care leavers and the activities of the INTEGRA network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The INTEGRA network, that was born about 6 months ago in Palermo<\/strong><\/a>, as of today connects 22 organizations and individuals who have committed to collaborate, share their skills, experiences, practices and initiatives with the aim of promoting pathways to autonomy for minors and young care leavers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The network in Palermo connects all those who believe in collaboration between civil society, the private social and public institutions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The network is open to all those who want to unite the energy and support boys and girls towards their autonomy!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the representative of the cooperative \u201cNuovi Orizzonti<\/em>\u201d Maria Teresa Favoloro said: \u201cThe INTEGRA network helped me not to feel alone anymore; with the support of the network we finally managed to bring activities into the center for our youngsters and also bring them for activities outside the center\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About the project<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

INTEGRA \u2013 Multidisciplinary Mentorship program to support the entrepreneurship of children in care and young care-leavers<\/a> is co-funded by the Rights, Equality and Citizenship Programme of the European Commission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The INTEGRA approach envisions a personalised participatory framework<\/strong>, where the stakeholders take the role of guiding, connecting, mediating and supporting the children in the restoration process of new reference points for their future socio-economic inclusion as a persona integra<\/em> into the community<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
