{"id":68230,"date":"2019-07-26T17:30:06","date_gmt":"2019-07-26T15:30:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cesie.org\/?p=68230"},"modified":"2025-07-29T15:10:56","modified_gmt":"2025-07-29T13:10:56","slug":"young-ambassador-ouroute-adventure","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cesie.org\/en\/school\/young-ambassador-ouroute-adventure\/","title":{"rendered":"Young ambassadors of the cultural heritage: the \u201couRouters\u201d students are ready for the adventure!"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">How to&nbsp;<strong>promote the sharing and the appreciation of Europe's cultural heritage<\/strong>&nbsp;between youngsters, raising awareness about common European history and values?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">How to&nbsp;<strong>create bridges between youngsters and other stakeholders<\/strong>, promoting cultural diversity and intercultural dialogue?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The kick-off meeting of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/cesie.org\/en\/project\/ouroute\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\">ouRoute<\/a>\u00a0took place at\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/inova.business\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external noreferrer\" title=\"\" data-wpel-link=\"external\">INOVA +\u00a0<\/a>Innovation Services (Matosinhos, Portugal) from 22<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0to 23<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0January 2019. The project has been introduced by Sara Brand\u00e3o, senior project manager at INOVA+ and project coordinator. During the kick-off meeting, the partners from Portugal, Spain and Italy expressed their intention to coordinate the work methodology providing supporting tools and delivering common methodological approaches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why is ouRoute innovative?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The project aim to:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To promote the\u00a0<strong>\u201ccultural routes\u201d of the Council of Europe<\/strong>\u00a0enhancing students and other stakeholders\u2019 awareness on shared heritage;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To foster the\u00a0<strong>inter-institutional dialogue<\/strong>\u00a0involving individuals and organisations from education, cultural and creative sectors to promote the citizen<strong>-cultural heritage<\/strong>;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To encourage social inclusion and inclusive education for all learners, by the\u00a0<strong>(re)discovery journeys and the \u201cethno-videographic\u201d expeditions<\/strong>\u00a0that put high school students from disadvantaged socio-economic backgrounds and\/or migrant ones at the centre;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To identify the\u00a0<strong>good practices across the ouRoute partners countries<\/strong>\u00a0and co-develop a final strategy to support the citizen-cultural heritage ecosystem.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We will cordinate the first phase of the project starting this February to&nbsp;provide an&nbsp;<strong>overview of the main cultural routes and sites in each partner countr<\/strong>y, identifying strengths and weaknesses as well as state-led policies and policies run by local authorities for the promotion of the national cultural routes. For this purpose, both CESIE and ouRoute partners will deploy several&nbsp;<strong>surveys and interviews<\/strong>&nbsp;targeting stakeholders working in different fields (students, teachers and school managers; local and national authorities; local actors of the cultural and creative sector).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The next project meeting will take place at CESIE on July 2019 together with the&nbsp;<strong>first international training course for teachers<\/strong>.
