In the last years the European Union has focused on the promotion<\/strong> and the development<\/strong> of women entrepreneurship<\/strong>, underlining the importance of business women\u2019s contribution to the whole economic system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nevertheless, starting a business is not easy,<\/strong> especially if you have to deal with your insecurities, skepticism of the social contest <\/strong>you live in, and many other obstacles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From this perspective the European project, Women Entrepreneurs: Inspire Us!,<\/a><\/strong> main goal is to enhance <\/strong>those key competences<\/strong> which will help aspiring women entrepreneurs<\/strong> to get motivated and start their own business<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 11th and 12th December we met in Cyprus the parterns of the project, which will be involved for the next 2 years in the project activities, in order to start planning next steps. A first research on women entrepreneurs\u2019 needs<\/strong> in Cyprus, Greece, Portugal Slovenia, Italy, Germany<\/strong> will be followed by the development of an on-line self-assessment tool<\/strong>, which will help aspiring women entrepreneurs to acquire key competences to work in the entrepreneurial sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At a later stage, partnership work will focus on the development of online training programme addressed to aspiring women entrepreneurs.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once the online training programme is ready, we will arrange the\u00a0Show Me The Path workshop<\/strong>\u00a0in Palermo; an event which will let aspiring women entrepreneurs test the tools developed during the project and their key competences on the entrepreneurial sector. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 Women Entrepreneurs: Inspire Us!<\/a><\/strong> is a two year project co-funded by Erasmus+ programme, Key Action 2 - Strategic Partnership for adult education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
