Is it possible to contribute to the social cohesion and intercultural dialogue and<\/strong> support sports clubs<\/strong>?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The second meeting of the SAVE project - Sport Against Violence and Exclusion<\/a> was held in Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina). During the meeting the consortium partners presented the results of the research conducted at national level on the issue of violence and exclusion among pupils in sport. In fact, through questionnaires and focus groups for coaches, the project first tried to define violence and exclusion and to draw precise lines on the meaning and perception of these issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the meeting, the consortium established the guidelines that will be followed in the implementation of the further research phase, this time in the field. In fact, questionnaires will be given to the children themselves and these will be followed in their sports activities in order to identify wrong behaviours and the reactions of their instructors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The coordinator of this new phase of research will be the University of Split (Croatia) with the faculty of kinesiology, while the University of Palermo will coordinate the development of the \u201cCompetence Card\u201d useful to identify how effectively the instructors are ready to face violence and exclusion among their students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About the project<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

SAVE \u2013 Sport against violence and exclusion<\/a> is funded by the European Commission through the Erasmus + KA2 Sport program: Support to Collaborative Partnerships to promote and increase the acquisition of skills and competences of trainers in sport such as discipline, team work and perseverance<\/strong> through informal and sports training activities<\/strong> to fight and defeat violence and social exclusion. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
