Tablets and digital devices<\/strong> were not designed to be educational tools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, in the last few years educators at all levels are adopting mobile devices<\/strong> and are finding exciting ways to use them in their daily work. These hand-held devices offer students with and without disabilities easy access to learning opportunities<\/strong>, information, organizational systems, communication, and, interestingly, emotional support.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this frame,\u00a0TABLIO<\/a>\u00a0project\u00a0helps teachers in<\/strong>\u00a0developing new educational approaches for differentiation and inclusion<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The fourth partnership meeting <\/strong>of the project took place from 24th<\/sup> to 25th<\/sup> September in Derry (UK)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the meeting, partners presented the preliminary results of the Teacher Design Teams<\/strong> (TDTs) in Belgium, Turkey, Slovenia, Netherlands, UK and Italy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each partner has been working with 2 TDTs<\/strong>, in European primary and secondary schools, developing and implementing innovative educational approaches using tablets and digital devices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The TDTs have identified their teaching challenges in order to develop and implement new educational approaches for differentiation and inclusion<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the next few months, we will launch a call for the selection of 15 teachers from primary and secondary schools <\/strong>that will attend the 3-days Bootcamp in Palermo<\/strong> (10th<\/sup> January, 6th<\/sup> February and 5th<\/sup> March 2019<\/strong>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Teachers from Italy may also attend the International Bootcamp<\/strong> in Hasselt (Belgium) from 11 to 13 March 2019<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both the national and international Bootcamps aim at training teachers who want to differentiate their work with pupils or students using and developing new teaching strategies and methodologies thanks to digital devices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About the project<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

TABLIO\u00a0 \u2013 Tablets for classroom differentiation and inclusion\u00a0<\/a><\/strong>is co-funded by the\u00a0Erasmus+ Programme, Key Action 2: Strategic Partnerships for school education<\/a>\u00a0aiming at promoting the use of tablets and other mobile devices to support teachers of primary and secondary education in the implementation of differentiation strategies in schools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
