GEM - Game for EuroMed project has been selected among the tools and resources that will be presented at the fifth edition of the Italian Toolfair, promoted by the Agenzia Nazionale Giovani - ANG, which will take place in Turin from 8 to 12 October 2018.

GEM has been selected, among all the pedagogical tools, as one of the resources to be presented in the Toolfair workshops.

GEM has in fact been evaluated as an innovative tool that stimulates creative learning and should be shared with youth workers who work in the field of education.

The Toolfair is an event during which representatives from different European countries share good practices and projects implemented with young people in the educational field. One of Toolfair's goals this year is to introduce and present new approaches and educational tools in order to:

"Promoting the process of self-reflection on the cognitive phenomenon, on what and how we are learning and on what are the motivations that drive us to learn, a process that allows us to distance ourselves, to self-observe and reflect "

Agenzia Nazionale Giovani

All Toolfair workshops will aim to create an exchange of methods, tools and evaluations to promote innovative pedagogical resources and youth empowerment.

GEM - the board game uses the "learning to play" approach in order to give players the opportunity to "travel" in order to learn about the culture, history, cuisine and current events of the Egyptian, French, Italian and Palestinian people. Therefore, the path of each player is characterized by different questions but also different trials to overcome such as drawing and mimic, which cannot be overcome without the help of one or more companions!

Therefore, the Toolfair will be an important moment on one hand to share pedagogical experiences, methodologies and tools on the other to reinforce educational practices and intercultural citizenship in order to enhance the diversity that belongs to our society.
