What are the&nbsp;<strong>benefits<\/strong>&nbsp;of employing refugees and asylum seekers? Where and how can employers&nbsp;<strong>recruit<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>international talents<\/strong>? And how to effectively<strong>&nbsp;manage<\/strong>&nbsp;their work&nbsp;<strong>integration<\/strong>?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/cesie.org\/media\/cesie.org_description_REST.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\">REST project<\/a>\u00a0offers responses in a\u00a0<strong>comprehensive training programme<\/strong>\u00a0dedicated to employers who wish to enhance their competencies in\u00a0<strong>employing refugees\u00a0<\/strong>and<strong>\u00a0people from different cultural background<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong>The first training courses took place at CESIE, Palermo, in May and June 2018. The participants were introduced to the&nbsp;<strong>Legal and administrative aspects<\/strong>&nbsp;of refugees\u2019 and migrants\u2019 employment, learnt about the incentives and types of contracts applicable and discussed their questions with an expert on refugees\u2019 integration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The second and third meetings were dedicated to&nbsp;<strong>Recruitment<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>Selection<\/strong>&nbsp;of international talents and strategies of&nbsp;<strong>On-boarding<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>Management of international teams<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After the summer break, REST training will continue with the topics of&nbsp;<strong>Mentoring<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Intercultural<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>aspects<\/strong>&nbsp;of workplace integration and&nbsp;<strong>Communication<\/strong>&nbsp;at workplace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Who can participate?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>All\u00a0<strong>employers<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>managers<\/strong>\u00a0who intend to deepen their competences in the field of labour market integration and innovative management of human resources;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Representatives of\u00a0<strong>associations<\/strong>\u00a0active in the field of refugees\u2019 integration,\u00a0<strong>job agencies\u00a0<\/strong>and other\u00a0<strong>professionals\u00a0<\/strong>in the field of labour market integration.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Besides, competences dealt within REST Training Modules are important for all employers and HR professionals who want to keep up with&nbsp;<strong>globalised working world<\/strong>, benefit from&nbsp;<strong>international talents<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>adopt innovative approaches<\/strong>. On that note, we invite also employers who haven\u2019t experience with refugees\u2019 employment but wish to learn more about&nbsp;<strong>diversity management<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>inclusive organisational culture&nbsp;<\/strong>or&nbsp;<strong>mentoring<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">REST in progress<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Piloting of the REST training courses takes place in all 6 partner countries reflecting different national contexts. At the occasion of the fourth transnational meeting in&nbsp;<strong>Athens<\/strong>&nbsp;on the 3<sup>rd<\/sup>&nbsp;and 4<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;of May, project partners shared their experience and discussed the differences in stakeholders\u2019 attitudes and needs.
