How to strengthen the interaction and networking between HEIs, industry, and institutions<\/strong> in China?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With a view to pursue the objectives of\u00a0BBChina \u2013 Master Programme on Bio-Based Circular Economy: From Fields to Bioenergy, Biofuel and Bioproducts in China<\/a>\u00a0and to ensure the timely and effective deployment of the project activities, the project consortium met on June 8th<\/sup>\u00a0and 9th<\/sup>\u00a0in Shanghai during the fist Project Activity Unit meeting, hosted by the Tongij university.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The meeting was a chance to discuss the current progress of the project activities and also to prepare the ground for the next steps to take in order to develop the International Master Course on Bio-based Economy<\/strong> (Biomass to Energy and Bioproducts) Curricula and to deliver it in the Chinese universities involved in the project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the two-day event, a web-conference<\/strong> was also arranged in order to involve other project representatives unable to participate in the meeting also at a distance and to keep them updated about the progress made.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the meeting, the project partners had the chance to review the state of implementation of the project, and especially to work jointly on structuring the syllabus of the master course<\/strong>, taking into account the courses already existing in the universities as well as the needs of each higher education institution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During this process, special attention was paid to delivering a master programme able to match the specific features of each Chinese University, while matching the European Credit Transfer System to the Chines credit system<\/strong>, enabling each HEI management board to approve the programme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The syllabus definition phase led to the delivery of a template for the development of the master curriculum, which will guide the partners to proceed with the course development in the upcoming months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the two days, the partners were also invited to visit different premises of the university, namely the \u201cYunchou Building\u201d, Sino-Italian Campus of Tongji University, the State Key Lab of Pollution Control and Resource Reuse and the Institute of Waste Treatment & Reclamation Lab and Premises.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
