The project indeed aims to promote information on a\u00a0<strong>healthy lifestyle among migrants<\/strong>\u00a0and to increase their confidence in using the existing\u00a0<strong>health system.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The learning units will be related on:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Promotion of healthy lifestyle;<\/li>\n<li>Prevention of importation of infectious diseases;<\/li>\n<li>Information on health system and procedures in the host country;<\/li>\n<li>Enhancement of personal competences.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These will be provided for download from our website to European adult educators that offer training courses to migrants and refugees and that wish to raise certain health related topics in their courses in an innovative and interactive way.<\/p>\n<p>The materials are designed to be sued in an adult education context, i.e. in class-room teaching on other thematic areas like language courses, labour programmes, social inclusion courses.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-38775\" src=\"https:\/\/cesie.org\/media\/vim.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"284\" height=\"212\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The project aims to promote information on a <strong>healthy lifestyle among migrants<\/strong> and to increase their confidence in using the existing <strong>health system<\/strong> in order to increase their skills in the health-related sectors.<\/p>\n<p>Moreover, the acquisition of a healthy lifestyle is considered a prerequisite for a necessary <strong>integration<\/strong> into the learning systems of the host country.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In order to achieve this goal, VIM will be characterized by the following activities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Development of a <strong>research report<\/strong> about health education of migrant.<\/li>\n<li>Creation of <strong>small training units<\/strong> about health education.<\/li>\n<li>Development of <strong>educational guidelines for educators<\/strong> working with migrants in diverse programmes.<\/li>\n<li>Elaboration of <strong><em>VIM Online hub<\/em><\/strong> for migrant health education that provides an information and educational resource hub for adult educators and other professionals involved in health education of migrants.<\/li>\n<li>Realisation of <strong><em>VIM in Practice and Experience report<\/em><\/strong> which documents and reflects the experiences gained in the piloting.<\/li>\n<li>Creation of <strong><em>VIM Quality Badge<\/em><\/strong> to convey the idea of adult educators and training providers that have embedded health prevention and health educational elements for their learners in their training courses according to the VIM approach.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/cesie.org\/project\/vim\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\">Vitality Interventions for Migrants &#8211; VIM<\/a> is a project co-funded by the European Commission under the <strong>Erasmus + program, Strategic Partnerships for Adult Education<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The consortium consists of the following European partners:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bupnet.de\/\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" rel=\"external noopener noreferrer\">BUPNET BILDUNG UND PROJEKT NETZWERK GMBH<\/a>(Germany, Coordinator);<a href=\"https:\/\/dieberater.com\/\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" rel=\"external noopener noreferrer\">DIE BERATER<\/a>\u00a0(Austria);<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sosuoj.dk\/\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" rel=\"external noopener noreferrer\">SOSU AARHUS<\/a>(Denmark);<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.magentaconsultoria.com\/\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" rel=\"external noopener noreferrer\">Magenta Consultoria Projects S.L.U<\/a>(Spain);<\/li>\n<li>CESIE (Italy).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For more information about VIM, feel free to contact <a href=\"mailto:giovanni.barbieri@cesie.org\">giovanni.barbieri@cesie.org<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The\u00a0Vitality Intervention for Migrants &#8211; VIM\u00a0partners met in Vienna on 05.\/06.06.2018 and worked on the development of the health related training units and activities.
