Is it possible to use comics as a means to promote active citizenship among young people<\/strong>?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following the success of the first cycle of workshops, targeted at young students from Palermo, we are ready to run a new series of\u00a0Europa e Nuvole<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0workshops, promoted in the frame of\u00a0I Giovani Parlano con l\u2019Europa<\/em><\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Starting on May 28th<\/sup>, 2018<\/strong> this second cycle of workshops will focus on active citizenship while allowing participants to create comic strips<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Supported by a group of experts, young people will talk about what it feels like to be an active citizen<\/strong>, strengthen their soft skills by carrying out non-formal activities and creating comic strips inspired by their own reflections and research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You don\u2019t need to be an artist to participate in the workshops:\u00a0our activities are targeted at young people aged 16-25<\/strong>\u00a0who are eager to grow as citizens and would like to share their ideas and opinions with peers with different cultural backgrounds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Participants will lead their own learning journey<\/strong>, they will be encouraged to take transformative individual and collective actions<\/strong> to foster social changes, fight against prejudices, deconstruct stereotypes and promote values such as solidarity, inclusion, mutual respect<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The workshops will be held on Mondays, from 15:00 to 18:00, at CESIE, in via Roma 94.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please note that the second cycle of workshops will start on May 28th<\/sup> and will end on July 30th<\/sup>, 2018.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A certificate of completion<\/strong> will be awarded at the end of the workshops.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I giovani parlano con l\u2019Europa<\/a>\u00a0aims to\u00a0promote intercultural dialogue<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0foster social inclusion\u00a0<\/strong>as a means to enhance\u00a0European citizenship<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0raise young people\u2019s awareness of the opportunities the European Commission offers.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
