How to integrate interactive multi-sensory techniques<\/strong> for learning and assessment in classrooms<\/strong>?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to support teachers<\/strong> in their daily work with SEN children<\/strong>?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 2nd<\/sup> INTELed project meeting was hosted by UPRC in Piraeus-Greece, on the 7th<\/sup> and 8th<\/sup> May 2018 in the premises of the University of Piraeus and all project partners were represented. The agenda included the presentation of the project progress and the meeting was characterized by high motivation and a friendly and collaborative atmosphere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During these two days, partners discussed about the activities that have been accomplished so far on the last six months of the project lifecycle, as well as, about the forthcoming activities of the second year. In particular, the Pedagogical Framework for SEN Education and the Methodological approach model for the teacher training have been presented.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also, partners thoroughly discussed their plans about the teacher training that will be implemented in September. The dissemination tools of the project were presented with special focus on the development of the Community of Practice that will share best practices in applying the INTELed method.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The best part of the meeting was at the end with the demonstration of one of the kinect-based games that was developed by\u00a0Cyprus University of Technology<\/a>. The next project meeting is planned for January 2019 in Palermo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About the project<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

INTELed<\/a>\u00a0is co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme, KA2: Cooperation for innovation and the exchange of good practices \u2013 Strategic partnerships for school education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project aims to develop a methodological framework for training teachers <\/strong>based on embodied cognition, <\/strong>research on embodied learning<\/strong> and the premise of multi-sensory technologies.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
