Is it possible to increase work opportunities for young people<\/strong> through the application of innovative guidance models and procedures<\/strong>?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is the impact of applying the Positive Psychology<\/strong> principles <\/strong>in school and career counselling?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The second meeting<\/strong> of the \"SUCCESS - Strategies to Utilize and Cultivate Positive Characteristics & Employability Skills in Schools\" project took place in Athens<\/strong> (Greece) from 24th<\/sup> to 25th<\/sup> April<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project aims to educate school counsellors<\/strong> to transfer new knowledge and skills<\/strong> in teaching environments at national and European level, applying positive psychology principles, methods and techniques.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the meeting in Athens the preliminary results of the research<\/strong> on Positive Psychology principles and career guidance<\/strong> carried out in Italy, Greece, Cyprus, Ireland and Lithuania, partner countries of the project, were presented.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The finalized report<\/strong>\u00a0will be soon available on\u00a0eusuccess.eu<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Furthermore, partners selected the materials for the development of the SUCCESS Handbook<\/strong>, which will include theoretical elements and practical activities\/methodologies<\/strong> that can be applied concretely in the work of school and career counselling<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the SUCCESS Handbook<\/strong>, an Online Educational Platform<\/strong> will be created, and it will contain information on the project, the training methodology and the SUCCESS training package (guidance for counselors, training curriculum, supporting educational resources, training materials).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Representatives from all the project partners took part in the meeting in Greece. The next meeting will be held in Cyprus in November 2018<\/strong>, together with the Train the Trainers' Workshop<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
