During the last three years the ArtS<\/a> project has taken advantage of the potential<\/strong> coming from the cultural and creative sectors<\/strong> in order to enhance the growth of jobs and strengthen the cultural economy<\/strong> at a regional and transnational level.<\/p>\n

Focusing on three countries – Greece, Italy and Spain – we firstly investigated on the complex system of cultural and creative industries in VET<\/strong>, then defined the needs of job market in the cultural and creative sectors<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Later we started a common VET programme<\/strong> that helps low-qualified, unemployed, self-employed artists to update their professional skills, gaining new managerial, networking and business skills<\/strong>, and guides them in finding a job or an internship in a firm of their choice.<\/p>\n

We implemented the training programme in accordance with ECVET <\/strong>standards (European credit system for vocational education and training).<\/p>\n

The training programme is finalized and available on-line<\/a> for all those who wish to improve their skills in the following sectors:<\/p>\n

  1. Craft,<\/li>\n
  2. Performing arts (music, dance, theatre),<\/li>\n
  3. Cultural Heritage (archives, libraries, museums),<\/li>\n
  4. Literary arts (book and press),<\/li>\n
  5. Visual arts,<\/li>\n
  6. Audiovisual and multimedia.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    On 13th<\/sup> and 14th\u00a0<\/sup>March the final meeting of the ArtS project<\/strong> took place in Rome. Here we all could confront on the project results and the objectives reached. The diversity of the partners represented a benefit for the project and its implementation, for the creation of the innovative and specific training programme and for its guarantee of impact, sustainability and dissemination of results<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\t\t
