In communities across Europe young people experience a general lack of opportunities<\/strong> with issues such as poor health, youth unemployment, poverty and social exclusion<\/strong>. At the same time, the world is passing through the biggest refugee crisis since the end of the World War II. This has led to an increased tension which arguably challenges the social cohesion within many European member states.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is important to promote voluntary activities in sport<\/strong>, together with social inclusion<\/strong>, equal opportunities<\/strong> and awareness of the importance of health-enhancing physical activity<\/strong> through increased participation in, and equal access to, sport for all<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Youth-led Street Sport for All \u2013 YSSA<\/a> is a new 3 years\u2019 project that aims at developing a framework to address the lack of opportunities for disadvantaged children and youth through street sports<\/strong> in Italy, Greece, Malta, Lithuania and Denmark.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
