Is it possible to&nbsp;<strong>apply participatory approach to school<\/strong>?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On\u00a0<strong>7<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0and 8<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0March<\/strong>\u00a0we attended the first\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/cesie.org\/en\/project\/sociall\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\">SOCI@LL<\/a>\u00a0partner meeting in Porto (Portugal).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The project aims at&nbsp;<strong>fostering social inclusion and multicultural learning using a participatory approach<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Schools, local public authorities, and civil society organizations will cooperate<\/strong>&nbsp;in order&nbsp;<strong>to create inclusive educative communities<\/strong>. They will be at the same time the&nbsp;<strong>co-creators of a positive change<\/strong>&nbsp;that aims at&nbsp;<strong>creating social labs<\/strong>&nbsp;at local and European level, through the upcoming&nbsp;<strong>virtual SOCI@LL platform<\/strong>!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Through a participative and fully inclusive approach,&nbsp;<strong>we will prepare resources for both teachers and public authorities<\/strong>, such as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>a\u00a0<strong>SOCI@LL roadmap<\/strong>, a\u00a0<strong>strategic plan for the creation of inclusive education systems<\/strong>\u00a0inside and outside schools and containing the state of play, best practices, strategy, action plan and recommendations based in the results of research;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>a\u00a0<strong>Virtual Social Lab\u00a0<\/strong>to foster and support cross-sectorial relations at local and European level as well as creating real inclusive and participatory learning opportunities, supported by the innovative resources developed;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>a\u00a0<strong>toolkit for school leaders and for teachers<\/strong>\u00a0to support the\u00a0<strong>creation and sustainability of culturally sensitive and inclusive educative assets<\/strong>;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A\u00a0<strong>manual for local authorities<\/strong>\u00a0to support them into the\u00a0<strong>creation of cross-sectorial platforms<\/strong>\u00a0for social inclusion.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The next project meeting will be in Cyprus on October 2018 to plan the future project activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">About the project<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/cesie.org\/en\/project\/sociall\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\">SOCI@LL \u2013 Whole school social labs: Innovative and participatory approaches for citizenship education and social inclusion<\/a>&nbsp;is co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme, Key Action 3 Support for policy reforms - Social inclusion through Education, Training and Youth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Partners<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The project involves the following partners:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Coordinator:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/inova.business\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external noreferrer\" title=\"\" data-wpel-link=\"external\">INOVA+<\/a>\u00a0(Portugal);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cm-matosinhos.pt\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external noreferrer\" title=\"\" data-wpel-link=\"external\">C\u00e2mara Municipal de Matosinhos<\/a>\u00a0(Portugal);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/esabelsalazar.pt\/portal\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external noreferrer\" title=\"\" data-wpel-link=\"external\">Agrupamento de escolas Abel Salazar, S.
