{"id":53814,"date":"2018-02-27T16:04:11","date_gmt":"2018-02-27T15:04:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cesie.org\/migration\/ragazzi-harraga-second-cycle-of-workshops-ready-to-run\/"},"modified":"2025-07-30T10:40:41","modified_gmt":"2025-07-30T08:40:41","slug":"ragazzi-harraga-second-cycle-of-workshops-ready-to-run","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cesie.org\/en\/migration\/ragazzi-harraga-second-cycle-of-workshops-ready-to-run\/","title":{"rendered":"RAGAZZI HARRAGA: Second cycle of workshops ready to run"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>Harraga<\/em><\/strong>&nbsp;is an Arab word designating young people who are ready to put their whole life at stake to migrate, burning borders to create a new life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/cesie.org\/en\/project\/harraga\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\">RAGAZZI HARRAGA \u2013&nbsp;<em>Social inclusion processes for unaccompanied minors in Palermo<\/em><\/a>&nbsp;aims to&nbsp;<strong>improve the reception system of unaccompanied minors<\/strong>&nbsp;by valuing their resources and potential,&nbsp;<strong>improving models facilitating the protection of children\u2019s rights<\/strong>&nbsp;in Italy, providing youths with learning and professional opportunities and housing solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Amongst its activities, Ragazzi Harraga promotes 5 different workshops, which will involve&nbsp;<strong>240 minors and youngsters&nbsp;<\/strong>living in Palermo, so as to foster and support cooperation with local youths.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Thus, our workshops rely on&nbsp;<strong>gender and ethnic diversity<\/strong>. At the end of each workshop, participants will receive a skills portfolio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Workshops are targeted at young men and women living in Palermo, both Italian and migrants, aged between 15 and 20.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As the end of the first cycle of workshops is approaching, we dare say it was an intense and fun learning experience for all the participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the beginning of April 2018, we will deliver a second cycle of workshops.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Managed by\u00a0<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/cesie.org\/en\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\">CESIE<\/a>,\u00a0Libera Palermo\u00a0e\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/nottedoro.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external noreferrer\" title=\"\" data-wpel-link=\"external\">Nottedoro<\/a>,\u00a0the workshops will start according to the following schedule:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>In Aprile 2018&nbsp;applicants will have the opportunity to join:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>a dance workshop,\u00a0<\/strong>which will be held every\u00a0<strong>Tuesday in Santa Chiara, 14:30 to 17:30<\/strong>;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>a workshop on human rights and social cohesion<\/strong>, which will be held every\u00a0<strong>Thursday in Santa Chiara, 10:15 to 13:15<\/strong>;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>an intercultural workshop t<\/strong>hat will take place every<strong>\u00a0Friday at bottega n.3, Cantieri Culturali della Zisa, Biblioth\u00e8ques Sans Fronti\u00e8res, 14:30 to 17:30<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you are interested in one of these workshops, please fill in the application form below, or send an email to\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:migration@cesie.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">migration@cesie.org<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons alignwide is-content-justification-center is-layout-flex wp-container-core-buttons-is-layout-fe48e5de wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link has-text-align-center wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/1RSL-E6rtiaEJW9xQwejRyT6iJRkacNYoEurIN_YVhkI\/closedform#responses\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener external\" data-wpel-link=\"external\">Enrol to RAGAZZI HARRAGA workshops!<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>In September 2018<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We will run two workshops (time and locations will be announced at a later stage):<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>I-video workshop;<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Creative expression workshop;<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><strong><u>The application process for these two workshops will start in June \u2013 July 2018.<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The maximum number of participants per workshop is 25. Please note that the platform may not be able to process your request, if the application limit has been exceeded. But don\u2019t worry!
