{"id":53697,"date":"2017-12-13T11:13:44","date_gmt":"2017-12-13T10:13:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cesie.org\/youth\/tell-your-story-digital-storytelling-and-storymapping-to-prevent-early-school-leaving\/"},"modified":"2025-07-16T09:48:23","modified_gmt":"2025-07-16T07:48:23","slug":"tell-your-story-digital-storytelling-and-storymapping-to-prevent-early-school-leaving","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cesie.org\/en\/youth\/tell-your-story-digital-storytelling-and-storymapping-to-prevent-early-school-leaving\/","title":{"rendered":"Tell your story: digital storytelling and storymapping to prevent early school leaving!"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In an informal learning setting, the&nbsp;<strong>young early school leavers<\/strong>&nbsp;will share&nbsp;<strong>their life stories<\/strong>: knowing their&nbsp;<strong>biographies<\/strong>&nbsp;we could understand what led to&nbsp;<strong>dropping out of the school system&nbsp;<\/strong>and the&nbsp;<strong>consequences<\/strong>&nbsp;arising from this decision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On\u00a0<strong>8th and 9th November<\/strong>\u00a0the third meeting of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/cesie.org\/en\/project\/tell-your-story\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\">Tell Your Story<\/a>\u00a0was hosted by our partner\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.rinova.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external noreferrer\" title=\"\" data-wpel-link=\"external\">Rinova Limited<\/a>\u00a0in London, UK. \u00a0It has been the occasion for the partners to review and discuss on the modules that has been implemented during the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/cesie.org\/en\/youth\/tell-your-story-share-your-life-stories-and-create-your-digital-story-map\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\">blended seminar<\/a>\u00a0in Palermo in last September 2017.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Based on feedback from participants and trainers, the new modules will be tested during the\u00a0<strong>piloting phase with early school leavers<\/strong>, that will be implemented until\u00a0<strong>February 2018<\/strong>\u00a0in all partners country. Then,\u00a0<strong>storymaps<\/strong>\u00a0created by the participants through\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.arcgis.com\/features\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external noreferrer\" title=\"\" data-wpel-link=\"external\"><strong>ArcGIS<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0platform will be shared on an\u00a0<strong>online exhibition<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In 2018, the publication on&nbsp;<strong><em>Preventing early drop-out through digital stories and maps<\/em><\/strong>&nbsp;will be available.
