{"id":53685,"date":"2017-12-11T12:51:12","date_gmt":"2017-12-11T11:51:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cesie.org\/migration\/ragazzi-harraga-closing-party-of-the-intercultural-workshop\/"},"modified":"2025-07-30T11:23:31","modified_gmt":"2025-07-30T09:23:31","slug":"ragazzi-harraga-closing-party-of-the-intercultural-workshop","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cesie.org\/en\/migration\/ragazzi-harraga-closing-party-of-the-intercultural-workshop\/","title":{"rendered":"RAGAZZI HARRAGA: Closing Party of the Intercultural Workshop"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">How to&nbsp;<strong>valorize the courage of minors<\/strong>&nbsp;that&nbsp;<strong>burn the frontiers<\/strong>&nbsp;to build&nbsp;<strong>a new life<\/strong><strong>?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">How to support and provide them<strong>&nbsp;the&nbsp;<\/strong><strong>opportunity of growing both personally and professionally<\/strong>?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><u><a href=\"https:\/\/cesie.org\/en\/project\/harraga\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\">RAGAZZI HARRAGA \u2013 Social Inclusion Processes for unaccompanied minors in the city of Palermo<\/a><\/u><\/strong><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong>has foreseen<strong>&nbsp;5 laboratory paths<\/strong>, started last October:<strong>&nbsp;Dance, Video, Expressive, Intercultural, Rights and Cohabitation.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The workshops have the aim to&nbsp;<strong>stimulate<\/strong>&nbsp;the young participants:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>to raise awareness of their own\u00a0<strong>talents<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>learning desires;<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>to develop\u00a0<strong>soft skills<\/strong>;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>to provide them occasions to\u00a0<strong>socialise and to get in relation with<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>other young people<\/strong>\u00a0living in Palermo.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The workshops are under way and will end in&nbsp;<strong>January- February 2018<\/strong>. Following this, the second cycle of workshops will begin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>However, the intercultural workshop is going to an end.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It has been an intensive path: participants discussed each other on important issues such as&nbsp;<strong>identities, religions, and cultures&nbsp;<\/strong><strong>that meet and merge&nbsp;<\/strong>together to create&nbsp;<strong>a&nbsp;<\/strong><strong>new, rich culture<\/strong>&nbsp;in which everyone can recognize each other.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They visited a<strong>&nbsp;mosque&nbsp;<\/strong>with an&nbsp;<strong>Imam&nbsp;<\/strong>and a&nbsp;<strong>church<\/strong>&nbsp;with&nbsp;<strong>Don Enzo \u2013&nbsp;<\/strong>director of Santa Chiara \u2013 gave them the deep and collective&nbsp;<strong>meaning of religions<\/strong>. They reflected on what it means to move in a new country that has&nbsp;<strong>different&nbsp;<\/strong><strong>cultural, civic and linguistic codes<\/strong>&nbsp;and what are the strategies to&nbsp;<strong>include themselves and<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>become active citizens<\/strong>, protagonists of their choices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Finally, the guys organized a&nbsp;<strong>party<\/strong>&nbsp;under the supervision of the&nbsp;<strong>facilitators, Ben and Numu<\/strong>, and want to&nbsp;<strong>share<\/strong>&nbsp;with other young people and anyone interested&nbsp;<strong>their cultural traditions, their learning path, music and food<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Amine, Md Razib, Salom Dabo Vieu, Mento, Khaossou, Nieves, Ebrima, Moro, Lamin, Mamadou, Justin, Aboul, Peter and Sabbir<\/strong><strong>,&nbsp;<\/strong>participants of the intercultural workshop of the Ragazzi Harraga project, are glad to invite you at the&nbsp;<strong>final party<\/strong>&nbsp;that will be held on&nbsp;<strong><u>15th December from 18:00 to 22:00<\/u>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Santa Chiara hosted all the workshops, and will also host the final party of the intercultural workshop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\">Ragazzi Harraga<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\"><strong>Closing Party of the Intercultural Workshop<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\">15 Dicember 2017 | h. 18.00<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\">Santa Chiara, Piazza Santa Chiara, 11, 90134 \u2013 Palermo<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There will be dances, music from many countries and moments of sharing on the topics dealt with during the last months:&nbsp;<strong>identity, religion, culture, equality and diversity<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Finally, the participants prepared&nbsp;<strong>4 messages<\/strong><strong>&nbsp;t<\/strong>hat they consider fundamental&nbsp;<strong>to be addressed to civil society, to young Italians and foreigners living in Palermo<\/strong><strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Some young participants of the other workshops will present short performances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A multi-ethnic refreshment prepared by\u00a0<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/moltivolti.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external noreferrer\" title=\"\" data-wpel-link=\"external\">Moltivolti<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0restaurant will follow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The event is open to everyone: we are waiting for you all!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">About Ragazzi Harraga<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/cesie.org\/en\/project\/harraga\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\">Ragazzi Harraga\u00a0<\/a>has been financed through\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.fondazionecariplo.it\/it\/news\/servizi\/bando-never-alone-al-via-i-progetti.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external noreferrer\" title=\"\" data-wpel-link=\"external\"><strong><em>Bando Never Alone<\/em><\/strong><\/a><em>,\u00a0<strong>per un domani possibile.
