{"id":53645,"date":"2017-11-22T14:09:35","date_gmt":"2017-11-22T12:09:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cesie.org\/adult\/newave-enhance-your-skills-in-the-renewable-sector\/"},"modified":"2019-06-18T11:33:43","modified_gmt":"2019-06-18T09:33:43","slug":"newave-enhance-skills-renewable-sector","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cesie.org\/en\/adult\/newave-enhance-skills-renewable-sector\/","title":{"rendered":"NE(W)AVE: enhance your skills in the renewable sector"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Renewable Energies is a growing and profitable industrial sector <\/strong>in Europe.<\/p>\n<p>Despite its importance and great expectations of continuing growth, there is a <strong>lack of skilled personnel<\/strong>: very often installation and maintenance services are in the hands of young people who do not have follow a specific training.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/cesie.org\/project\/newave\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\">NE(W)AVE \u2013 reNEWAble e_VEt learning<\/a><\/strong> aims <strong>to create, test and implement a comprehensive learning model for the future professionals in the renewable energies.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>On the 7th and 8th November 2017 the <strong>kick-off meeting<\/strong> of the project took place in Palermo (Italy).<\/p>\n<p><strong>in its 36 months implementation phase, <\/strong>the <strong>NE(W)AVE<\/strong> project foresees the following activities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>initially carry out <strong>a gap analysis<\/strong> in all the partner countries to find out more on existing training opportunities. Trainers and companies working in the renewable energies sector will be interviewed in order to learn more about their <strong>needs and preferences regarding content of training<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Based on the results of the analysis, we will build on <strong>a proven learning model for training of vocational instructors<\/strong> <strong>develop a new online training course<\/strong>. The course will then be tested in pilot trainings in the four partner countries.
