How to strengthen the active participation of young people to the decisional trials?<\/p>\n
Is it possible to contribute to the interaction among citizens and done political representative through the net?<\/p>\n
The e-partecipation put into effect in Palermo by the We all count Europe<\/a> project turns to an end.<\/p>\n Kuorum<\/strong><\/a> is an online platform for political participation which allows a direct contact between politicians and citizens. The main aim of the European project We all count Europe<\/strong><\/a> is to make this communication and co-design tool known and enlarge citizens\u2019 participation as much as possible, also including disadvantaged groups. In these two years of project implementation, the platform has been introduced to groups of politicians and young people and tested in five European cities.<\/p>\n On Kuorum.org<\/a> concrete proposals can be published and opened to debate, but you can also organize countries, send newsletter to find supporters for your initiatives: all this with the purpose to increase the democratic sharing, the collective management of the city and the political transparency.<\/p>\n In the last months, we arranged two cycles of activities both online and face to face with young citizens, local organisations and politicians who joined the initiative.<\/p>\n The last of these meetings was the second debate between young people and politicians<\/a>\u00a0 was hold on the 18th<\/sup> September at CESIE office.<\/p>\n Participants worked together on some proposals previously published on Kuorum following the methodology called World Caf\u00e8. Based on mutual listening and collaboration, this workshop produced interesting results for both groups:<\/p>\n We all Count Europe project partners met in Konstanz, Germany, on October 5 and 6 for the final meeting of the project<\/strong>.\u00a0 They shared the results of the latest local activities in the five countries, the improvements made to the Kuorum platform and finally presented the train the trainers<\/em> material developed during the project.<\/p>\n At this moment Kuorum in Palermo counts the active participation of two politicians, two local organizations and various citizens. In total have been published and opened to debate 12 proposals<\/strong><\/a> dealing with very different topics: introduction of fulltime at school, reuse of public buildings and spaces, strengthening of town memory, establishment of urban gardens and much more.<\/p>\n PUSH.<\/strong>\u2019s proposals are the results of the Roundtables organized within the\u00a0Urban Thinkers Campus<\/a>, organised \u00a0the last April in Palermo. These are ideas elaborated by citizens, professionals, students, representatives of the third sector and are all aimed at improving the cultural and artistic heritage, public spaces and community life in Palermo.<\/p>\n Il Palermo Youth Center<\/strong> ha avanzato un piano di riuso a fini sociali del complesso di beni pubblici inutilizzati<\/a> per rispondere a bisogni quali l\u2019emergenza abitativa, la carenza di spazi aggregativi\/culturali, di centri servizi per cittadini e servizi di welfare a soggetti svantaggiati.<\/p>\n Tonino Russo<\/strong> proposal La conoscenza come forma di liberazione<\/a> draws attention to the services and skills gap in education field in southern Italy and to the need to strengthen the educational offer of schools, especially primary and secondary, by equipping the school system for the full time and prolonged time.<\/p>\n Francesco Bertolino <\/strong>with Le vie della memoria<\/a> re-launches his project aimed to enhance the memory of the places. Through a QR Code and using smartphones, people can access the biographical-historical information of key figures to which the sites are titled.
