After almost 3 years of activities and workshops which saw the involvement of parents, educators and children in six EU countries, the project POLYGLOT \u2013 Multilingual education in preschool age<\/strong><\/a> is coming to an end.<\/p>\n

In order to discuss about the last steps to take, analyse the results achieved so far and schedule the last steps to be taken by September, the project partners met from the 8th<\/sup> to the 9th<\/sup> of May 2017 <\/strong>in Innsbruck hosted by the project coordinator Kindervilla<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Up to now, the project has achieved remarkable results and produced useful educational products such as free<\/strong> manuals<\/strong> and e-courses<\/strong> addressed to educators and parents aimed to promote bilingualism in the family and school<\/strong> environment.<\/p>\n

As a matter of fact, POLYGLOT proposes an innovative methodology<\/strong> based on the use of open educational resources<\/strong> as a tool for parents and educators to support the learning of a foreign language among children aged up to 6 year<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Hence from May to September, the organizations and schools belonging to the project consortium, will work to finalise the project\u2019s results and products<\/strong> and to spread them among schools, parents and educators.<\/p>\n

With this view, workshops<\/strong> will be implemented with educators and parents in order to promote the adoption of the innovative methodology proposed by the POLYGLOT project. Additionally, we will arrange a final event<\/strong> during which the results of the POLYGLOT project will be presented.<\/p>\n

POLYGLOT is a 3-year project, co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme, Key Action 2 \u2013 Strategic Partnerships in the field of school education, aiming to foster language learning from an early age by exploring the potential of Open Educational Resources and the new opportunities offered by media and by the use of mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets.<\/p>\n
