At the Flemish Parliament in Brussels.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The project aims at exploring new dynamic methods in education by promoting Cloud initiatives in the public and private sectors.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The summit has been attended by partners from all Europe (Greece, UK, Belgium, Italy, Germany, Austria, Poland, Bulgaria, France, Ireland, Romania, Slovenia, Spain, Portugal, Cyprus, Lithuania, Czech Republic, Turkey) and involved: schools, universities, companies, NGOs, National Authorities, research centres, associations and VET actors.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The network aims at analysing the way in which education can answer to the new ICT developments that are rapidly changing the labour market and society and at spreading as much as possible the opportunities offered by these powerful technologies.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The event saw the intervention from two key-note speakers, Prof. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ted.com\/speakers\/sugata_mitra\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" rel=\"external noopener noreferrer\">Sugata\u00a0Mitra\u00a0<\/a>(<a href=\"http:\/\/www.hole-in-the-wall.com\/\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" rel=\"external noopener noreferrer\">Hole in the Wall<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.theschoolinthecloud.org\/\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" rel=\"external noopener noreferrer\">School in the Cloud<\/a>) and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/notosh.com\/search\/results?q=mcintosh\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" rel=\"external noopener noreferrer\">Ewan\u00a0McIntosh<\/a> (NoTosh\u00a0Limited), who shared their experience related to innovation in education and, especially, to the so-called \u00a0Self-Organised Learning Environments (SOLE).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The participants also had a chance to take part in different workshops aimed to explore the potential of \u00a0Cloud-based learning:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>WG iFuture: The Future of Cloud-based Education<\/li>\n<li>WG iLeader: What Kind of Educational Leadership for the Cloud?<\/li>\n<li>WG iLearner: The Method of Cloud-based learning<\/li>\n<li>WG iTeacher: The Impact of Cloud-based Teaching<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">And several labs:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Microsoft Education Solutions in the Cloud<\/li>\n<li>How to make a dynamic Cloud book by mixing Apple &amp; Google apps<\/li>\n<li>Teaching STEM through the Internet of Things with SAM Labs and Proximus<\/li>\n<li>iTalk: Cloud-based Research within Everyone&#8217;s Reach<\/li>\n<li>GO! 3.0: How Service Design can improve the Learning Processes in your School<\/li>\n<li>Design a Cloud with your Pupils using Raspberry Pi?<\/li>\n<li>Doukas School Cloud Success Stories<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Thus, the summit allowed to explore future scenarios of <strong>cloud-based education<\/strong>.
