The public report is the result of this international training course in which the participants explored the topics relating to the EVS programme, that this year celebrates 20 years and in particular the role of the mentor, that guides the volunteer during his process of integration in the hosting community. Through presentations and non-formal activities, the participants discussed about the meaning of the word \u201cvolunteering\u201d and they acquired competences on volunteering in the other countries. Indeed, the participants came from Nepal, Vietnam, Hungary, Italy, France and Kenya.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">After the training course, 12 volunteers will be involved in different EVS mobility experiences in the countries mentioned\u00a0 above from January 2017 for 6 months.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The training course that took place in Palermo from 5<sup>th<\/sup> to 13<sup>th<\/sup> of September was organised within <strong>MPV &#8211; Moving People in Volunteering<\/strong> &#8211; a capacity building project\u00a0 co-founded by the <strong>Erasmus+ programme (Key Action 2, Capacity building in the youth of the field).<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Are you interested in EVS programme and in the activities implemented during the training course?<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/cesie.org\/media\/public-report-mpv.pdf\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\">Know more about Volunteerism and Social Inclusion<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">For further information, please contact <a href=\"mailto:daria.labarbera@cesie.org\">daria.labarbera@cesie.org<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The training course Volunteerism and Social Inclusion involved many youth workers, mentor or potential volunteers and in general young people that want to work in the third sector and in local organisations.
