Follow the VALLEY\u2019s piloting group!"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The work-in-progress platform for&nbsp;<strong>VALLEY<\/strong>&nbsp;is tested through a pilot assessment with a group of young volunteers in each partner country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In Italy, the first meeting of the&nbsp;<strong>piloting group<\/strong>&nbsp;regarding the LEVEL5 evaluation was held with a group of youngsters, who have just started their volunteering at CESIE and local centres in Palermo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">LEVEL5 validation methodology \u2013 What is it?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>LEVEL5 system is specifically designed to validate personal, social and organisational competence developments in rather\u00a0<strong>non-formal and informal learning settings;<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>LEVEL5 facilitates the\u00a0<strong>assessment, visualisation and evidence\u00a0<\/strong>based on the validation of competences;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>LEVEL5 is based on a\u00a0<strong>three-dimensional<\/strong>\u00a0model that visualises the development of\u00a0<strong>knowledge, skills and attitudes.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The implementation of the LEVEL5 validation is done at two crucial time of the volunteering period, thus a first&nbsp;<strong>evaluation of the competences<\/strong>&nbsp;is foreseen at the beginning of the volunteering, and then a second evaluation at the end.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The group a volunteers has met for the first meeting and has worked on this validation through group and self-reflection activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In a first part, through the 16 competences settled by the partnership related to volunteering, each volunteers choose the competences by answering at the following question : Which competences do you think important for your future and\/or you would like to learn more about ?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Then, the volunteers have valuated the competences chosen based on the three dimension: knowledge, skills and attitudes.
