{"id":52889,"date":"2016-07-20T09:36:58","date_gmt":"2016-07-20T07:36:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cesie.org\/school\/cloud-based-education-soc-analyses-scenarios-for-the-future\/"},"modified":"2016-07-20T09:36:58","modified_gmt":"2016-07-20T07:36:58","slug":"cloud-based-education-soc-analyses-scenarios-for-the-future","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cesie.org\/en\/school\/cloud-based-education-soc-analyses-scenarios-for-the-future\/","title":{"rendered":"Cloud-based education: SoC analyses scenarios for the future"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/cesie.org\/media\/soc-scenari-futuri-big.jpg\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-26750 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/cesie.org\/media\/soc-scenari-futuri-big-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"Cloud-based education: SoC analyses scenarios for the future\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/><\/a>The 3<sup>rd<\/sup> meeting of the Working Group 4 of the project\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.schoolonthecloud.eu\/index\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" rel=\"external noopener noreferrer\">\u201cSchool on Cloud \u2013 Connecting Education to the Cloud for Digital Citizenship (SoC)\u201d<\/a> took place on the 27<sup>th<\/sup> and 28<sup>th <\/sup>of May in Nicosia, Cyprus hosted by the University of Cyprus.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The SoC project, co-funded by the LLP Programme \u2013\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/eacea.ec.europa.eu\/erasmus-plus\/actions\/key-action-3-support-for-policy-reform_en\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" rel=\"external noopener noreferrer\">Action AC3 Multilateral Network<\/a>, aims at exploring new dynamic methods in education by promoting Cloud initiatives in the public and private sectors.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The project is an ICT Network which consists of 57 European partners that operate in different educational sectors, they represent 18 countries (Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Cyprus, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Spain, Turkey, United Kingdom,) and it features 10 schools, 21 universities, companies, NGOs, National Authorities, research centers, associations and VET actors.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The network members have been divided up in the following working groups which implemented the project activities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>WG1: Managing Cloud-Based Developments<\/strong> (focus on the i-manager);<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>WG2: Using the Cloud: the Innovative Teacher<\/strong> (focus on the i-teacher);<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>WG3: Integrating the Cloud: Personalized Learner <\/strong>(focus on the i-learner);<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>WG4: Future Scenarios for Education on the Cloud<\/strong> (focus on the i-future).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The first group\u00a0 analysed different leadership and management aspects of those education agencies that decided to exploit Cloud Computing technologies;\u00a0the second group\u00a0has been in charge of exploring Cloud computing impact on the role of teachers and teachers\u2019 trainers.\u00a0The third group\u00a0dealt with personalised learning and digital functions offered by Cloud; CESIE makes part of\u00a0the fourth group\u00a0that explored future scenarios for the use of Cloud systems in education and training.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">During the meeting, the WG4\u2019s members discussed about the finalization of the deliverable 5.3 \u201c<strong>Cloud-based education: scenarios for the future<\/strong>\u201d, report;
