In June\/beginning of July the training course for tourism trainers<\/strong>, which has been developed in the course of the TTRAIN project, will take place in Palermo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The training course, which is free of charge, addresses trainers and employees in the tourism sector<\/strong>, who dispose of a minimum of two years of professional experience in a tourism enterprise<\/strong> (hotel, restaurant, tour operator, travel agency etc.). The aim of the course is to provide the participants with competences and tools necessary to train their fellow colleagues<\/strong>, in order to improve the services offered by their enterprises. It is based on a proven methodology named \u201cStepping Stones\u201d, which foresees a practical training with lessons in the training room and tasks at their working place<\/strong>, so that participants can apply immediately the newly acquired competences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Four lessons in the training room are foreseen between 14th<\/sup> June and 5th<\/sup> July<\/strong>: every Tuesday from 2 pm to 6 pm, at the premises of CESIE in Via Roma, 94. Further, participants will carry out ca. 20 hours of self-directed learning at their working place. At the end of the course a certificate of attendance will be issued.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The training course is organized by CESIE in the context of the TTRAIN project<\/strong>, which is co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Commission. The University of Bifr<\/strong>\u00f6<\/strong>st from Iceland<\/strong> is the coordinator of the project<\/strong> and has developed the training course, which will be carried out in these months as well by the other partner organisations from Austria and Finland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
