Charalambous (Institute of Development) Ltd (Cyprus); and Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences (Greece).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The <strong>EAGLES <\/strong>project, (co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme, Key Action 2 \u2013 Strategic Partnerships in the field of Youth) <strong>aims to tackle youth unemployment by developing important employability skills to young job seekers in combination with positive emotions, psychological resilience, optimism and self-esteem<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The <strong>EAGLES<\/strong> places emphasis on <strong>positive emotions<\/strong> and <strong>positive psychology<\/strong> that are crucial factors allowing individuals, societies and communities to thrive and flourish. It is agreed that <strong>positive emotions<\/strong> can broaden thoughts and enrich physical, psychological and social resources at the same time \u00a0enhancing young job seeker\u2019s employability skills.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Within this framework, the<strong> EAGLES<\/strong> project aims to develop, test and release an <strong>educational tool for young job seekers <\/strong>combining <strong>positive psychology<\/strong> approach and existing <strong>employability\/entrepreneurial<\/strong> educational tools. One trainer per each partner organisation will be trained on developed tools and methodologies who afterwards will test the educational tool with 10 Youth Workers in his\/hers country. Training youth workers in Italy, Greece, Cyprus and UK will contribute to transferring the gained knowledge to young job seekers and provide support and guidance to them. It will assist youth organisations to enhance their practices and methods based on positive psychology approach.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">During the 14 months of the <strong>EAGLES <\/strong>project, a series of outcomes will be achieved:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><strong>Needs analysis on employability skills<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Educational EAGLES training package and the manual <\/strong>how to use it.<\/li>\n<li><strong>EAGLES online training platform <\/strong>including all the developed materials and relevant resources.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The next phase of the <strong>EAGLES<\/strong> project is aimed at finding out what are the main skills that young job seekers need to acquire \/ and what are the skills employers require from their employees.
