AJEM is an youth association created by youngsters living in Amadora, a city in the suburbs of Lisbon, with the aim of changing the world.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">They have been working in 3 fields:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Improving the community<\/li>\n<li>Dancing<\/li>\n<li>Youth Mobility<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">They pretend to fight against social exclusion, therefore they have been working with dance, sports, music in order to integrate more youngsters with fewer opportunities.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The activities of the EVS volunteers will be:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Integration of children with fewer opportunities through music, dance and sports,<\/li>\n<li>Organization of a Sports Tournament,<\/li>\n<li>Helping the Municipality in their social projects (ex. Collecting food, clothes, books),<\/li>\n<li>Organize a cultural events.<strong><em><br \/>\n<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><em>Costs?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The costs of food, accommodation and local transport will be fully covered by the host organization. Furthermore the volunteer will receive a monthly pocket money for personal expenses extra. Travel costs (go and back) are covered up to 275 Euros.
