{"id":52505,"date":"2015-11-02T13:11:24","date_gmt":"2015-11-02T12:11:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cesie.org\/youth\/workability-and-flexicurity-for-employment-welfare-is-on\/"},"modified":"2026-03-09T11:55:03","modified_gmt":"2026-03-09T10:55:03","slug":"workability-and-flexicurity-for-employment-welfare-is-on","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cesie.org\/en\/youth\/workability-and-flexicurity-for-employment-welfare-is-on\/","title":{"rendered":"Workability and Flexicurity for Employment \u2013 WELFARE is on!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-24060\" src=\"https:\/\/cesie.org\/media\/Welfare-invito.jpg\" alt=\"Welfare-invito\" width=\"1920\" height=\"1200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/cesie.org\/media\/Welfare-invito.jpg 1920w, https:\/\/cesie.org\/media\/Welfare-invito-1280x800.jpg 1280w, https:\/\/cesie.org\/media\/Welfare-invito-980x613.jpg 980w, https:\/\/cesie.org\/media\/Welfare-invito-480x300.jpg 480w\" sizes=\"(min-width: 0px) and (max-width: 480px) 480px, (min-width: 481px) and (max-width: 980px) 980px, (min-width: 981px) and (max-width: 1280px) 1280px, (min-width: 1281px) 1920px, 100vw\" \/>The Training Course \u201cWELFARE &#8211; Workability and Flexicurity for Employment\u201d is a 8-days training course which will take place in Baida, in the neighborhood of Palermo, from the 7<sup>th<\/sup> to the 15<sup>th<\/sup> November 2015.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">WELFARE aims to involve youth workers, project leaders, youth advisers and other professionals working with youth in a modular pathway to inspire them, provide them with tools and methodologies in order to help young unemployed people to face current employment challenges such as lack of <strong>flexibility and workability<\/strong> as preconditions of employability. <strong>Flexicurity<\/strong> is the ability to change, to meet the globalized business needs and new concept of security: that comes not from an ordinary stable work but from the awareness of our own capability and predisposition to change. <strong>Workability<\/strong> is a precondition for employability that enable individuals to extend their working lives through a continuous self-investments on new skills.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The TC &#8211; financed by Erasmus+ Program, Key Action 1, Mobility of Youth Workers \u2013 will gather 39 youth workers from 15 European Programme countries: Italy, Bulgaria, Croatia, Denmark, Greece, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Norway, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Spain, Turkey, UK.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The main objectives of the training course are:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>To provide youth workers with new knowledge on workability and flexicurity that will serve the young people they work with to be more equipped for current labour market needs and challenges;<\/li>\n<li>To promote and encourage flexibility and workability in their work as a response to youth unemployment and for young people\u2019s empowerment, through creative approach;<\/li>\n<li>To introduce new creative ways of reaching out to target groups of young unemployed people by familiarizing them with new artistic, musical and theatrical tools and dynamics;<\/li>\n<li>To increase awareness of the youth workers on the importance of culture, art and music, as non-formal tools for their work with youth and how it can have effects in every day routine, as well as the perspectives in the labour field;<\/li>\n<li>To facilitate the exchange of experiences, traditions, best practices, habits and promote cooperation in the field of creative work with youth through culture, art and music in the EU countries;<\/li>\n<li>To establish networks for further joint collaboration of the organizations involved in the project.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">All the sessions will be carried out through the non-formal and informal activities. Those include group-building activities, energizers, debates techniques, work in small\/big groups, outdoor activities, Open Space Technology, Theatre of Oppressed. Theoretical sessions will be integrated and performed in an interactive way.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Moreover, WELFARE team is pleased to invite you to participate in the <strong><em>Intercultural evenings on November 8<sup>th<\/sup> and 9<sup>th<\/sup>. <\/em><\/strong>Those events will take place at Convento di Baida, in Via al Convento di Baida,43.
