{"id":52288,"date":"2015-06-04T11:40:07","date_gmt":"2015-06-04T09:40:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cesie.org\/youth\/sense-social-entrepreneurship-social-media-for-youth-employability-in-palermo\/"},"modified":"2026-03-04T13:42:16","modified_gmt":"2026-03-04T12:42:16","slug":"sense-social-entrepreneurship-social-media-for-youth-employability-in-palermo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cesie.org\/en\/youth\/sense-social-entrepreneurship-social-media-for-youth-employability-in-palermo\/","title":{"rendered":"SENSE &#8211; Social Entrepreneurship &#038; Social media for youth employability in Palermo"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/cesie.org\/media\/sense-articolo-web.jpg\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-22070 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/cesie.org\/media\/sense-articolo-web.jpg\" alt=\"SENSE - Social Entrepreneurship &amp; Social media for youth employability in Palermo\" width=\"630\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/cesie.org\/media\/sense-articolo-web.jpg 630w, https:\/\/cesie.org\/media\/sense-articolo-web-480x229.jpg 480w\" sizes=\"(min-width: 0px) and (max-width: 480px) 480px, (min-width: 481px) 630px, 100vw\" \/><\/a>TC \u201cSENSE Social Entrepreneurship &amp; Social media for youth employability\u201d is an 8 days training course which will take place in Baida, in the neighborhood of Palermo, from the 6<sup>th<\/sup> to the 14th June 2015.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">SENSE aims to give inspiration, tools and new methodologies to youth workers by providing ideas on how to create a social business and bring a positive impact on society, ensuring social inclusion and economic development through social entrepreneurship, as well as exploiting and exploring the opportunities offered by social media in promotion of their own social enterprise, as well as give knowledge on the use of social media in getting employed.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The TC financed by Erasmus+ Program, Key Action 1, Mobility of Youth Workers \u2013 will gather 31 youth workers from 21 countries (Italy, Algeria, Bulgaria, Egypt, Estonia, France, Germania, Greece, Jordan, Israel, Lebanon, Lithuania,\u00a0Macedonia, Morocco, Netherlands, Palestine, Portugal, Spain, Tunisia, Turkey, Romania).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The main objectives of the training course are:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>To promote and encourage social entrepreneurship as a response to youth unemployment;<\/li>\n<li>To provide youth workers with new tools and innovative methodologies which will be transferred to youth in their local communities; exchanging best practices in the field of social entrepreneurship and use of social media in EuroMed countries;<\/li>\n<li>To foster the intercultural, intergenerational dialogue, economic development and social inclusion of youth;<\/li>\n<li>To promote deeper knowledge about European programmes and funding opportunities for youth and social entrepreneurs and finally, facilitating the establishment of new networks at EuroMed level.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Through the exchange of good practices and case studies among participants from EU and South Mediterranean countries, they will seize the opportunity to establish networks for further joint collaboration.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">During the training, an innovative methodology will be used, combining non-formal activities and practical training through virtual tools in order to foster participants\u2019 involvement through creative thinking methods, communication-based methods and peer-learning activities.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Moreover, SENSE team and participants are even pleased to invite you to participate in the\u00a0<em><strong>Intercultural evenings on June 7<sup>h<\/sup><\/strong><\/em><strong><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><em><strong>and 9<sup>th<\/sup><\/strong><\/em>. Those events will take place at Convento di Baida, in Via al Convento di Baida,43.
