2nd partner consortium meeting of SMART project took place in Palermo, Italy on 20-22 April 2015 with participation of all 7 project partners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSMART\u201d is a project of an Erasmus+ Programme, under Key Action 2, Strategic Partnership with duration of 24 months \u2013 from September 2014 to July 2016. The project involves 7 partners from Denmark, Ireland, Sweden, Belgium, Italy and Netherland, representing University, Second chance schools and civil society organisations. The partners will work hand in hand on the creation of a quality measurement system for the second chance education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The partners have met for the second time to talk about implemented project activities, first results and future steps. Several workshops were conducted on the development of the quality and measurement indicators for the Systematic Measurement System (SMS) that is under development and will represent an e-platform made available for teachers, second chance schools and organisations working in the field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As part of the meeting on 22 April, second Multiplier event took place, organised by CESIE and hosted by secondary school \u201cIstituto Tecnico Trasporti e Logistica Nautico Gioeni Trabia\u201d. At the event 22 teachers of the school have participated together with 5 international participants, invited by CESIE and 12 representatives of project partners from 7 countries. During the event, the project was presented, together with its objectives, main activities and results. Copenhagen Youth School has presented their example of Logic Model Exercise to use by teachers for quality assurance of the informal learning outcomes of the students, while Limerick and Clare Education and Training Board has presented their Case studies on the implementation of the Logic Model in Ireland on the basis of 8 schools. At the end 4 parallel workshop took place: 2 on quality indicators and other 2 on adaptation of SMS. The event has received many positive feedbacks, teachers had a chance to share best practices and experiences with their European colleagues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The next steps will be the finalised Literature review report that was conducted by the partners, Needs Analyses, development of SMS and dissemination products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
