In the framework of the From School to Community project, funded by the EuropeAid Programme of the European Commission and the Republic of Turkey, the partner organizations have developed a resource for democratic citizenship and human rights education for teachers and students in middle school.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The handbook, available in Turkish and in English also in the\u00a0Digital Library<\/a>\u00a0on CESIE\u2019s website, was used as a basis for activities developed by teachers and students of middle schools from the Ankara region. Three schools took active part in the implementation of the activities inspired by the handbook, and their school projects were presented at METU Conference Hall on November 25th<\/sup>, 2014, on the occasion of Turkish Teacher Day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The conference, attended by more than 200 pre-service and in-service teachers, as well as students, marked the final activity of the FS2C project, whose lifecycle ends on February 15th<\/sup>, 2015.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
