The aim of it is to show how mutual trust and integration between migrant and local communities, represented by the good practice of \u201cCentro Astalli Palermo\u201d, is not only possible but also highly beneficial for both realities.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In fact, as Emanuele put it, \u201cit\u2019s only out of fear and ignorance that some Italians are racist and xenophobic\u201d. The best way to stimulate mutual trust and confidence is through music and cultural events, that stimulate people to understand that \u201cwe\u2019re all the same\u201d, as Samuel put it.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Although EU elections are over, it\u2019s always the time to fight xenophobia and to watch out for politicians\u2019 scapegoating of migrants.
