\"Mediterranean<\/a>CESIE is looking for 2 italian participants <\/strong>for the Training Course \u201cMediterranean for gender Equality and Rights<\/em> (MER)\u201d<\/strong>,within Action 3.1 of the Youth in Action Programme, that will be held in Palermo, Sicily,<\/strong> from 15th<\/sup> to 23th<\/sup> of June 2014.<\/p>\n

The project will involve 40 participants<\/strong> (youth workers & leaders) from many different countries: Italy, Portugal, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Tunisia, Romania, Slovenia, Spain, UK, Algeria, Bulgaria, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine and Greece.<\/p>\n

It will last for 8 days<\/strong>, and we will stay in the quiet and beautiful Convent of Baida<\/strong>, surrounded by the impressive Sicilian nature, where we will have time enough to get to know each other and acquire new knowledge about other cultures and realities.<\/p>\n

The TC is aimed at providing useful skills for youth workers who work with marginalised youth because of gender or\/and sexual issues in order to foster their social inclusion. The TC will go through the topic by using non formal and innovative methods (Reciprocal Maieutic Approach , Theatre of the Oppressed and artistic workshops, etc) aimed at deconstructing gender roles. This will allow participants to identify the gender-based multiple discrimination in society and acquire tools to overcome it, promoting active citizenship and\u00a0 participation of all. They will share best practices on the field, building strong EUROMED networks.<\/p>\n

It will be an amazing opportunity to express the participant\u2019s opinion concerning sexuality, discrimination, marginalization, minorities, stereotypes, equality and more.<\/p>\n

The food and accommodation in Baida will be covered 100% by CESIE. You just have to bring your clothes, good mood and willingness to learn and have fun! Of course, we need from you 100% availability during the 8 days.<\/p>\n
