\"Handbook-Speakers-of-Europe\"<\/a>Speakers of Europe go for their final effort before the European Parliament elections: an exciting game-book on how to create an awareness-raising campaign, in which the main character is you<\/b>! In December 2013, the training course Speakers of Europe took place in Palermo. It dealt with European citizenship and the ways to promote it through social media.<\/p>\n

Forthcoming European Parliamentary elections (22-25 May 2014) will be the most important in EU\u2019s history, due to the increased competences given to the European Parliament by the Lisbon Treaty. Thus, abstention will be a critical threat for democratic representation in Europe.<\/p>\n

This is why the Speakers of Europe team prepared this game-book, which is a free tool\u00a0easy to be used by anyone wishing to promote European civic responsibility or any other issues regarding voting, participation or citizenship. The multiplying effect is an essential part of the project, and we want to encourage anyone to find out there: inspiration, ideas, good practices, practical tools, knowledge, information, motivation\u2026<\/p>\n
