The RePlaY project (Re-Plan-Years 2014-2020), co-funded by the Europe for Citizens programme (action 1.2.2) has come to an end in January 2014.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project was a chance for organisations from 11 European Countries to come together and think on some capital issues for modern society such as active ageing and intergenerational dialogue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to concretely promote a better inclusion of elderly people in the social life of our communities? How to strengthen intergenerational dialogue? RePlaY tried to give some ideas and suggestions, based on the experience of the partners involved, collecting some good practices relevant to these issues that can be found in the RePlaY booklet, titled: \u201cActive Ageing European Booklet<\/strong>\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the same time, the partnership analysed the new Europe for Citizens programme 2014-2020 considered as one of the most relevant programmes to the promotion of active citizenship and democratic participation to European life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A description of the programme is available inside the RePlaY booklet with some short advice on the draft and submission phases of project proposals. The objective was to provide organisations with little or no experience in European cooperation with a first tool to develop project having a transnational dimension.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Therefore, if you want to get some ideas on how to concretely promote active ageing, to learn more about the European programme specifically addressed to the promotion of active citizenship and to take the first steps in the field of European cooperation, you can start to read this very simple manual (available in different languages) and\u2026share it!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
