{"id":51238,"date":"2013-05-07T09:37:33","date_gmt":"2013-05-07T07:37:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cesie.org\/adult\/body-in-culture-culture-in-body\/"},"modified":"2025-06-24T11:57:49","modified_gmt":"2025-06-24T09:57:49","slug":"body-in-culture-culture-in-body","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cesie.org\/en\/adult\/body-in-culture-culture-in-body\/","title":{"rendered":"BODY in Culture &#8211; Culture in BODY"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Palermo was the venue to successfully host the third meeting of the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.bodyproject.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external noreferrer\" title=\"\" data-wpel-link=\"external\">BODY project\u00a0<\/a>\u2013 that engages in exploring the impact of cultural differences related to body, health, disability, gender and sexuality in adult training activities- hold from the 25th to 28th March 2013.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The consortium had the opportunity to confirm the validity of the progress by identifying the Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats<em>&nbsp;<\/em>of the applied methodology so to ensure its best results and learning outcomes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The meeting was also the occasion to review and discuss in depth the BODY products already available:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bodyproject.eu\/media\/best_practices_reader.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external noreferrer\" title=\"\" data-wpel-link=\"external\"><strong>Best Practices Reader<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0gathering innovative best practices in adult trainings that take into account cultural diversity.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The interactive\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.bodyproject.eu\/online-tool\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external noreferrer\" title=\"\" data-wpel-link=\"external\"><strong>Online TOOL<\/strong>\u00a0<\/a>visually showing the examples of Best practices to overcome the situations of Critical Incident.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The final version of\u00a0<strong>the Theory Reader<\/strong>\u00a0(anthologies and bibliography) as recommended readings to get background information on cultural differences concerning the BODY themes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The final content and structure of\u00a0<strong>the Manual<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>BODY<\/strong>\u00a0for adult trainers working in the field of health education, sexuality education, intercultural education, gender related education.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In order to finalise the programme of the Grundtvig\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.bodyproject.eu\/media\/BODY_call_for_TC_pax.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external noreferrer\" title=\"\" data-wpel-link=\"external\">in- service training<\/a>\u00a0(Budapest 1\/5.07.2013) and the closing\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/cesie.org\/media\/BODY_conference_CESIE.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\">conference BODY IN CULTURE-CULTURE IN BODY\u00a0<\/a>(Bruges 12\/13.09.2013) for adult trainers in the partners have worked in small groups on the identification and formulation of learning outcomes related skills and tools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Follow us on the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/pages\/BODY-Culture-Body-Gender-Sexuality-in-Adult-Trainings\/552773531409405\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external noreferrer\" title=\"\" data-wpel-link=\"external\">BODY facebook<\/a>\u00a0page to get more information about the project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">[BODY&nbsp;<em>is a LLP Grundtvig, Multilateral project]<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For further information please contact <a href=\"mailto:adult@cesie.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">adult@cesie.org<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignleft\"><a href=\"https:\/\/cesie.org\/media\/EU_flag_LLP_EN-01.jpg\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cesie.org\/media\/EU_flag_LLP_EN-01-300x116.jpg\" alt=\"Lifelong Learning Programme\" class=\"wp-image-9233\" title=\"Lifelong Learning Programme\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>This project has been funded with support from the European Commission.
