It involves five partners:<em> CESIE<\/em>\u00a0 (Italy), <em>MEH- Merseyside Expanding Horizons <\/em>(England), <em>VM-Verein Multikulturel<\/em>l (Austria), <em>Elan Interculturell <\/em>(France) and <em>SIC- Senior Initiative Center<\/em> (Lithuania).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The target groups ALCE fouses on, are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">native senior women over 60 years old<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">and young migrant women between 18 and 40 years old<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">ALCE main objectives are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>breaking social isolation of certain target groups suffering of multiple discrimination<\/li>\n<li>developing the intercultural and intergenerational dialogue between the two target groups.<\/li>\n<li>encouraging adult learning through the\u00a0 recognition and validation of the competences (literacy, civic, entrepreneurial)\u00a0 acquired by the target groups.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The learning phase will be based on exchange of food traditions and natural curative methods, cultural events, learning mobilities, creation of Book gathering traditional recipes and remedies and creation of\u00a0 pedagogical manual on innovative approaches to stimulating inter-generational and intercultural learning.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">From the 17th to 19th of January a Kick-off meeting will be held in Palermo to give a concrete start to the project. The partners\u2019 coordinators will meet to start planning together the next steps for the implementation of the activities. At the same time a training will be held by the trainers from each organization.
