\"AnimatoreCESIE is looking for volunteers to be involved in a project of the \u201cCluj-Napoca Volunteer Centre\u201d (Romania), under the EVS programme. Volunteers will live in Cluj-Napoca the fourth biggest city in Romania (http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Cluj-Napoca<\/a>) and will be working in the local Children\u2019s\u00a0 Hospital, from September 2013 to May 2014 (9 months). Volunteers will work 4 days a week in the hospital, mostly in the afternoon (from 13-17h). They will work in 4 different sides of the hospital: paediatric surgery and orthopaedics, nephrology (children dealing with dialysis) and the Paediatrics Clinic nr. 3 and nr. 1 (children that have respiratory problems.<\/p>\n

EVS volunteers will be the main actors in choosing the activities, planning them, preparing all the materials and delivering them to the children (all this will happen with the support offered when needed by the project coordinator but also by local volunteers). They are supposed to bring something new to what a hospital offers in Romania: storytelling, English lessons (using the methods specific to the non-formal education), planning different games according to the level of mobility of the patients, organizing musical and drawing activities, learning and practicing the art of origami, face painting, puppet theatre, etc.<\/p>\n

Beside all these activities, the volunteers will also be offered the opportunity to offer psychological and practical support to the parents of the children that are patients of the hospital. At the beginning of the project the volunteers will be trained in a few introductory notions about clinic animation by the staff of our organization but also by other local volunteers that have been working already in this field.<\/p>\n

The total number of working hours for the volunteer every day is of 6, including the language courses and other type of activities besides working in the hospital:<\/p>\n
