Would you like to work in a green rural area in Tirol, working with disable people? The Arche Tirol community is looking for a volunteer under the EVS (Euroepan Volontary Service) programme to be involved in its activities in St. Jodok (Tirol, Austria) for one year, from October 2013 to September 2014 (12 months). St. Jodok is rural but not isolated area, as it is well-connected by train (hourly, 30min journey) to Innsbruck, the capital of Tirol.<\/p>\n

Arche Tirol is an international communitiy of both disabled and non-disabled people, who live and work together. At the moment 10 people with learning difficulties live in one of the houses of the community in St. Jodok. They share their everyday-life, eat and work together, do shopping, go on excursions, holidays and organise leisure activities. The 10 habitants of the Arche Tirol are supported by a professional multicultural team.<\/p>\n

The volunteer will support the team, composed by six people aged between 20 and 50. The volunteer will participate in various aspects of the daily work and will be able to contribute with his\/her own interests and strengths to the project. She\/he will be part of the team and learn a lot about working with people with different disabilities.<\/p>\n
