\"ProLang\"The kick-off meeting of the project \u201cProLang (Promotion of less used European Languages to youth on the move)\u201d<\/strong> has taken place in Ljubljana (Slovenia) the 7th<\/sup> and 8th<\/sup> November 2012. The objective of this new project in which CESIE is taking part is to identify best practices for the promotion of less spoken languages in Europe among youth, in order to create an online tool to be used by language course learners and providers. This tool is intended to be innovative, attract test-takers and be enjoyable, giving also a diagnostic about the language skills of the user.<\/p>\n

Apart from CESIE, six more partner organizations participated in the encounter: three from different European universities specialized in language courses (Vilnius, Bratislava and Ljubljana), two Slovenian organizations with expertise in the field of ICT education and European mobility and one more from Warsaw (Poland), skilled in the visibility of online platforms. During the meeting, the future activities that will be developed during the two years that the project lasts were identified and analyzed. Now CESIE is ready to start developing its tasks, look for new ideas for promotion, address possible target groups, etc. until the next meeting, that will take place in Bratislava (Slovakia) in April 2013.<\/p>\n

\u201cProLang\u201d is a two-year multilateral project financed by the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency of the European Commission, under the frame of the Lifelong Learning Programme, transversal programme Key Activity 2, aiming to promote language learning and the linguistic diversity in Europe.<\/p>\n
