The first year of the project \u201cInventing the future\u201d is coming to an end. It has been founded by the APQ \u201cGiovani protagonisti di s\u00e9 e del territorio\u201d and has involved young people from Palermo in several workshops regarding creativity, theatre, dancing, painting, active citizenship and interculturality.<\/p>\n

In order to present young participants\u2019 works and to promote the activities to be done in November 2011, an event called \u201cPorte Aperte II\u201d (Open Doors) is going to take place on 28 October 2001 at \u201cCentro O.P.E.N.\u201d, inside \u201cCentro Sant\u2019Anna\u201d (piazza Kalsa, Palermo), where the workshops will be done.<\/p>\n

The multi-purpose centre O.P.E.N. (Opportunities, People, Empowerment, Novelty), addressed to young people (aged from 14 to 18 and from 19 to 25), aims at proposing them the alternative of a spontaneous aggregation, providing the city with an alternative experimental space for young people\u2019s cultural self-production. It is meant to be at the same time a meeting place, an opportunity of non-formal education, a workshop for expressivity and creativity, and a place where people can spend their free time together, making the experience of being and working together worthwhile.<\/p>\n
