The kindergarten works in 9 groups for children aged 1 to 7, every group has two teachers and teacher\u00b4s assistant. In addition, there is a special teacher for the music and a second one for sport activities. There are 21 teachers, 9 teacher`s assistants and 8 other employees. The kindergarten works all year round, every working day from 7 a.m. till 7 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>The kindergarten is located next to big green playground for children where they can play and take part in different organized activities throughout the year. Children have regular activities in the kindergarten during their stay: such as games and learning, indoor and outdoor sport activities, art, music, drama and dance classes.<\/p>\n<p>The Kindergarten Asunduse is the place where the child-centered methodology is used.<\/p>\n<p>Young people who will volunteer in the kindergarten will give an important contribution to its environment and different activities taking place daily as well as during special events and celebrations. The volunteers are expected to be creative and combine their previous experiences with new knowledge they are about to gain in order to enrich the work in the kindergarten and the daily lives of the kids who will become conscious of different nationalities, cultures and countries. All this will offer an opportunity to learn about child-centered methodology used in the kindergarten, to practically experience how to introduce to the kids their own background, country and culture and how to start communicating with the kids in Estonian.<\/p>\n<p>The EVS volunteers will be fully involved into the life in the kindergarten and with the support of the staff they can develop new activities and events depending on volunteer\u00b4s personal interest and ability. The guidance will be given in every step needed and the volunteers will always work with the kids in presence of teachers or assistants. The volunteers can also accompany the kids while visiting museum, theater performances, zoo, parks etc.<\/p>\n<p>The main concrete tasks of the volunteers can be to help the teachers to prepare the materials for the lessons, to take part in the lessons and help the kids in their learning process. They can also organize different games and outdoor activities. In addition, it would be possible to help the music teacher in music lessons by for example teaching their traditional songs and musical games and can organize different sport activities for the children. The kindergarten values highly local traditions and celebrates different holidays &#8211; help from the volunteers during the preparation and the implementation of these events will be also highly valued.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, in addition to the work with the kids the volunteers can develop activities for the parents and the staff \u2013 for example organize cultural evenings, give language lessons or initiate discussion-groups on certain topic.<\/p>\n<p>The activity dates for Tallinna Asunduse Kindergarten are 01.10.2011-31.09.2012. The project lasts 12 months. 1 place available.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Project n. 2) <\/strong>Saku Municipality Youth Centre<\/p>\n<p>Youth center in Saku includes small complex of rooms, where youngsters can spend their free time playing billiard, table tennis, board games, TV games, listen music, use the kitcen etc. There are also computers where young people can surf in the Internet, study or play computer games. Each day about 50 young people visit the center.<\/p>\n<p>Each day about 20 young people are visiting youthcenter in Kiisa.<\/p>\n<p>Arrange different events, camps and international projects during the whole year. In summer we arrange camps for children and youngsters from the age of 6 to 18. Saku Municipality Youth Center is cooperating with Saku Cultural Center and Kiisa Cultural Center. We are helping to organise some events each year (for example traditional events). It isalso cooperating with kindergartens, local schools, sportclub and music school.<\/p>\n<p>The volunteer\u00b4s main tasks and activities could be as follows helping youth workers in everyday work like preparation of activities for the children and young people; initiating and carrying out activities in the youth club (playing music, organizing cultural events, dance parties, teaching and communicating in foreign language with local youngsters); participating in various local culture events and projects; organizing info meetings and training courses for youngsters to provide information about local, national and international projects, seminars, conferences etc; making announcements about them. Amongst others promoting youth participation in the Youth in Action programs, such as youth exchanges, EVS and other activities. Of special attention of the target groups would be local disadvantaged youth; helping to organize youth exchanges (in different formats; helping to carry out summer camps;<\/p>\n<p>The beginning of the service in the youth centre would be on 01.10.2011 and the maximum length of 12 months would be prefered, but shorter period can be also agreed on.<\/p>\n<p>One place available.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Project n. 3) <\/strong>Would you like to improove your english, but you are not interested in conventional destination like England?<\/p>\n<p>Would you like to play open air sports in the unspoiled nature of Estonia?<\/p>\n<p>Would you lke to know cultures and traditions different from yours?<\/p>\n<p>The Project will take place in Estonia. In the county of P\u00e4rnumaa, parish of Tahkuranna and village of Uulu for 9 months starting in September 2011 until end of May 2012.<\/p>\n<p>The volunteer will live in Uulu in the local authority apartment or in a local hotel or hostel.<\/p>\n<p>He\/she has to follow Estonian and Tahkuranna parish laws and rules of culture and sport centre.<\/p>\n<p>The Culture and Sport Centre of Uulu (Estonia) arranges culture and sport courses and hobby-courses work.<\/p>\n<p>It organizes the free time of people who live in the parish (for example Health Day, Woman`s Day, Children`s Protect Day, summer camps, camps, youngsters festival, concertos, orienteering, hand-craft HORSE RIDING classes, SKIING classes etc.).<\/p>\n<p>It generally works with young people, because there are many hobby courses but it also work with other target groups (elderly people, grown up etc.)<\/p>\n<p>The volunteers main activities will take place in The Culture and Sport Centre of Uulu, in the youth centre and in the local schools.<\/p>\n<p>SKIING and HORSEBACK RIDING are very popular sport activities. There are various ways to sport in summer and in winter.<\/p>\n<p>Main employers in the parish are agriculture, wood handling and fishing.<\/p>\n<p>In the youth centre youngsters can play different kind of board games, billiard, table-football and table-tennis.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s the place where if they have any questions or problems they can talk to youth worker.<\/p>\n<p>The task of volunteers is to fortify the culture and sport centre`s, open youth centre`s, peoples and especially youngsters life in the parish of Tahkuranna with his\/her culture, traditions, new ideas and practical help. Helping youth worker and youth centre\u2019s everyday life. Helping to get youngsters out of their homes and making them more active in the community by helping to organize and organizing activities, events. Also contributing in the everyday life of culture and sport centre, helping with activities that are organized by the parish schools or culture and sport centre. Deadline 18\/05\/2011<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>EVS in Austria<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Austrian organization Grenzenlos is coordinating a SVE at the kindergarten that belongs to the University of  Natural Resources and Applied Life Sciences, Vienna.<\/p>\n<p>The kindergarten is frequented by student&#8217;s children, by children of the university employees and by children whose parents are interested to take part in the kindergartens daily routine.<\/p>\n<p>In total, 18 children visit the kindergarten on a regular basis,  however there are more visiting not in a regular routine. The timetables of the children are very flexible and adaptable to the needs of parents and children.<\/p>\n<p>According to this, the philosophy of the kindergarten is based on individual care. The kindergarten teachers offer activities according to the wishes and needs of the children: creative activities and sports activities (both indoors as outdoors) are two focal points of the work of the teachers and parents with the children.<\/p>\n<p>The kindergarten is surrounded by several parks and is within easy reach by public transports. The volunteer will have the opportunity to meet 25 other foreign EVS volunteers.<\/p>\n<p>The volunteer will be involved in  creative activities like painting, handcraft, drawing etc. Sports or movement in general is also part of the program: in the park there are many opportunities for games, sports, dance etc. In summer time, trips to the swimming pool are often organized.  The kindergarten has also a gym where sports and games will be organize. Deadline 18\/05\/2011<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>EVS in Athens<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Web and multimedia are the fields in which our and next generations will play their cultural and social relevant issues. HAI ( Hellenic Association of Informatic) of Athens looks for a EVS volunteer with previous skills or interest  in informatics.<\/p>\n<p>EVS  will last six months starting from September 2011.<\/p>\n<p>Greek youngsters will be encouraged to use new technological instruments in a productive and creative way. They also support training and other development projects in these countries, and seek to raise awareness in the UK of the causes of poverty.<\/p>\n<p>From their workshops and offices in Netley Marsh near Southampton, they collect and refurbish used tools and sewing machines, reclaim timber and use it to make packing cases, and send regular consignments to Ghana, Uganda, Malawi, Sierra Leone, Tanzania and Zambia. Reims has 180000 inhabitants and it is 130 km far away from Paris.<\/p>\n<p>Here there is Specialized Host Home Marc Toussaint anon profit organization that deal and follow in the everyday life people with disabilities.<\/p>\n<p>The organization manage centers for people with disabilities and mobility problems where volunteers from France and other countries work. The EVS volunteers will be working not in the personal assistance but in activities such as entertainment and games and in awareness campaigns.<\/p>\n<p>Volunteer will realize activities in a animation team, in which he will join. He will help the people that stay in the center to participate to activities. Some of these activities are cultural, for example cuisine, music, computer workshop, mosaics, poetry, wood carving, shows, etc.<\/p>\n<p>Others will be entertainment activities such as bingo.
