In September in Palermo took place the Jobshadowing of the project TESD \u201cTools for Equal Sustainable Development \u201c, with the partecipation of two partner social workers from Senegal (Association Enfance et Paix) and Peru (Association SEPEC).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cTools for Equal Sustainable Development \u201d is a project aimed to enhance the role of women in sustainable development through the creation of a dissemination tool called \u201ctoolbox\u201d, in which the partners have collected practical and educational practices to be applied in different cultural\/social contexts and countries. The contents of the toolbox are the results of the work done by the young participants (experts and volunteers) of the training course and of the local reaserch work done by the local youngsters and social workers in the partner countries (Bulgaria, Ecuador, France, India, Italy, Nepal, Pakistan, Per\u00f9, Senegal, Spain, Sweden and Ukraine).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Jobshadowing allowed Karla (from Per\u00f9) and Felix (from Senegal) to visit and see the local Sicilian realities, that promote sustainable development and consumption with the active participation: the cooperative Madonita e the cooperative Girasole in Castelbuono, the cultural association Sentieri Sostenibili, LIBERA \u2013 associations names and numbers against mafias; LabZen2; Mitzica Lab-store.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
After these interesting and constructive visits, CESIE has organized a round table in which Karla and Felix presented and explained their work in Senegal and Peru for the Promotion of Sustainable Development, critical consumption and strengthening of women\u2019s role in these fields and in society in general. In addition to the above mentioned associations other local associations working in this field have participated: Alternative Energy Festival, Consorzio Ulisse, SoLeXP, Acunamatata.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This meeting was a new opportunity to learn about sustainable realities worldwide. Finally, the toolbox mentioned above will be also a tool for the dissemination and sharing of such constructive experiences lived by our 8 TESD project partners (Bulgaria, Ecuador, France, India, Italy, Nepal, Pakistan, Peru, Senegal, Spain, Sweden, Hungary). One of our goals is to strengthen citizens and especially young women in the field of sustainable development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
