The \u201cTeach Informatics Using Authentic Learning and Gender Inclusion\u201d <\/strong>MOOC is developed within the TINKER project<\/strong><\/a> (auThentIc learNing and gender inclusive frameworK for tEaching infoRmatics in schools across Europe) with the support of Scientix\u00ae<\/a>. The MOOC is designed to support educators in strengthening their informatics teachingpractice through evidence-based approaches that combine authentic learning with gender-inclusive strategies.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The course targets pre-service and in-service primary and secondary informatics and STEM teachers, non-formal educators, and educational technology professionals. Participants will explore how authentic learning can make informatics more meaningful for students, while learning practical ways to create inclusive classroom environments that support all learners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Throughout the course, participants will work with concrete examples, analyse existing learning activities, and develop their own authentic, gender-inclusive learning scenarios, ready to be implemented in the classroom. The MOOC also offers the opportunity to exchange experiences and ideas with a European community of educators and EdTech professionals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n By completing this course, you will be able to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n The MOOC runs from 23 March to 29 April 2026<\/strong> and consists of four modules:<\/p>\n\n\n\n The course is fully online and self-paced<\/strong>, with an estimated workload of 5 hours per week<\/strong> (25 hours in total).
