In today's rapidly evolving job market, skills<\/strong> have become the primary driver of competitiveness and innovation. However, not all young people have the opportunity to access adequate education or develop the necessary skills to enter the workforce, often finding themselves with limited opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For this reason, it's essential to provide targeted support<\/strong>, especially for young people who are not in education, employment, or training (NEETs<\/strong>). This will enable them to overcome these challenges and enhance their transferable and entrepreneurial skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the main goal of creating a synergistic network between the public and private sectors to improve NEETs' access to the job market, YouthPioneer<\/a><\/strong> has officially commenced. <\/p>\n\n\n\n


YouthPioneer is an ambitious and innovative initiative that aims to revolutionise the career path of young people by placing them at the centre of their own development. The first stakeholder meeting on 27 June was a key step, laying the foundations for a collaborative and impact-driven approach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The main objective of YouthPioneer is to create a synergistic network between the public and private sectors in order to improve access to work for young neets. During a highly-attended roundtable,<\/strong> representatives from the Ribera employment centre<\/a>, Confesercenti Palermo<\/a>, Associazione I.D.E.A.<\/a>, Moltivolti<\/a> and EPYC<\/a> actively contributed to the discussion, Offering valuable advice on the YouthPioneer approach and providing practical advice on roles and responsibilities of the various actors involved. The aim is clear: to make the path as smooth and effective as possible, guaranteeing young people a unique opportunity for growth.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n


The YouthPioneer programme is designed to offer cross-functional, project design and entrepreneurial pitch skills training, ongoing mentoring, 3 months of professional experience<\/strong> and even the chance to develop and present business ideas in a final contest<\/strong>. This holistic approach aims to provide participants with all the tools they need for successful entry into the world of work<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The stakeholder meeting was a success, culminating in the definition of a detailed action plan. This plan clearly outlines roles, responsibilities and the individual steps to be taken for an optimal organisation of the pathway. Starting in September, the initiative will involve 15 young NEETs <\/strong>(Not in Education, Employment or Training), who will have the opportunity to embark on this innovative journey.
With the YouthPioneer Learning Model<\/em> now finalised and enriched by the action plan, the expectation grows for the actual start of the journey. The first meeting between young people and employers is scheduled to take place in September, a crucial moment for concrete interactions and opportunities.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

YouthPioneer \u2013 Forging pathways to labour market integration through project design, mentoring and professional experience<\/a> is a ESF+ Social Innovation+ Initiative project aimed at collaboration with stakeholders to understand the aspirations of young NEETs, improve their soft and entrepreneurial skills and empower them to play a key role in the contemporary economy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
