Are you sure you know how to protect yourself from the dangers of the web?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Safer Internet Day<\/strong>, celebrated each year on February 11, is a key opportunity to <strong>reflect and act on the issue of online safety, especially for children and adolescents.<\/strong> In an increasingly digital age, it is important not to fear or stigmatize technology, but to understand it and use it with awareness, valuing its opportunities. <strong>Ensuring safe virtual spaces is essential to protect children and adolescents from risks such as grooming, exposure and dissemination of nonconsensual content, and sexual exploitation. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Online safety is, and must increasingly become, a collective responsibility.<\/strong> It is not just a technical issue, but <strong>a shared commitment involving families, educators, institutions, and the entire civil society. <\/strong>This commitment is particularly crucial in protecting of adolescents, an age group particularly exposed to potential vulnerabilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/cesie.org\/en\/project\/stop-prostitution\/\" title=\"\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\">STOP<\/a><\/strong>, coordinated by CESIE ETS, was created with the aim of <strong>preventing the risk of online child prostitution exploitation.<\/strong> Through an integrated approach, including <strong>training<\/strong>, <strong>awareness raising <\/strong>and <strong>practical tools<\/strong>, the project provides support to professionals working closely with minors, helping them<strong> recognize and counter risk situations.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/childrensafe.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external noreferrer\" title=\"\" data-wpel-link=\"external\">ChildrenSafe<\/a><\/strong> is an <strong>innovative platform <\/strong>designed for anyone who wants to contribute to child safety online. Through resources, guides, and practical tools, it offers <strong>support to youth and adults to promote safe and aware digital use.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">ChildrenSafe provides:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Information materials <\/strong>for parents, teachers, and educational professionals;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Tips <\/strong>for understanding and addressing the challenges of online safety;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Initiatives to take action<\/strong> and promote a responsible digital culture and foster education on sexuality and affectivity;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On <strong>Safer Internet Day<\/strong>, it is critical to remember that <strong>protecting children online requires ongoing and coordinated efforts.<\/strong> Projects like STOP and resources like ChildrenSafe demonstrate that <strong>prevention and education can really make a difference.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Your contribution is important to make the Internet a safer place!
