In an age where political engagement is both a necessity and a challenge, the Get Political<\/strong><\/a> emerges as a transformative initiative aimed at enhancing political literacy and active participation among young individuals aged 15 to 30, youth workers, and educators. <\/strong>The iniative, coordinated by the Ayuntamiento de Purchena, combines innovative tools, inclusive methodologies, and cross-sector collaboration to foster a deeper understanding of political systems and empower youth to confidently navigate and shape democratic processes.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

At its core, Get Political seeks to bridge gaps in political knowledge and engagement by offering participatory learning experiences through initiatives like Political Talks<\/em>, the Get Political 101 Guide<\/em>, and Political Peddy Papers<\/em>.<\/strong> These resources are designed not only to inform but also to inspire young people by placing them at the heart of political discourse and decision-making. By documenting youth experiences in political and electoral processes, the project highlights the unique challenges and opportunities faced by young citizens, while providing actionable insights to policymakers and educators.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adopting a systemic and inclusive approach, the project fosters collaboration across diverse stakeholders, including youth organizations, educators, and political institutions, ensuring that young people\u2019s voices are integral to its implementation.<\/strong> Through hands-on activities like study visits to political institutions and interactive tasks tailored to different political frameworks, participants will connect theory with practice, bridging the often-daunting gap between abstract political concepts and real-world applications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Get Political also emphasizes capacity-building among youth workers and educators, equipping them with practical resources<\/strong> like the Booklet of Political Literacy Practices<\/em> and the Political Peddy Paper Methodology Manual<\/em>.
