Issues related to racism, Afrophobia, diversity and inclusion are at the center of many debates in Europe, and AFROEQUALITY<\/a> aims to contribute to this debate with an innovative perspective.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In recent years, the presence of African communities in Europe has grown<\/strong>, bringing increased visibility but also heightened exposure to stereotypes and discrimination.<\/strong> Italy, Spain, and Greece, in particular, serve as key points in this dynamic, both as major entry hubs for many migrants and as countries with strong historical and cultural ties to the Mediterranean. However, despite the importance of cultural diversity, people of African descent often face deep-seated prejudices, both on an individual and systemic level.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The AFROEQUALITY Survey<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

AFROEQUALITY seeks to delve deeper into these perceptions through a survey that examines various aspects of daily life and social interactions for People of Color (POC).<\/strong> The project aims to give a voice not only to those directly affected by discrimination but also to those living in these countries who can observe, reflect, and contribute their insights toward building a more equitable and inclusive society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anyone with experience of life in Italy is encouraged to take part. It doesn\u2019t matter what your cultural background is: your opinions and reflections will help create a clearer and more nuanced picture of the current situation and how we can improve coexistence and mutual understanding.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you are interested in supporting the fight against racism and discrimination, this survey offers a concrete way to get involved.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The questionnaire, consisting of 20 questions, explores how POC are perceived within Italian society, covering topics like social media use, news consumption, and direct experiences with African communities. <\/strong>These insights are crucial to better understanding the social and cultural representations of people of African descent and to helping combat afrophobia and discrimination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
