How to improve the education and reintegration of detained people into society?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Road to Freedom<\/a><\/strong>, with the aim of actively answering this question, has achieved significant results after two years of intensive work. Among the main achievements is the creation of the Road to Freedom platform<\/strong>, a benchmark for education in detention settings. This platform provides an in-depth look at the project's methodology, based on the FROG method<\/strong>, and offers specific educational and informational resources, including a documentary and contributions from experts in the field.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project has also helped build new connections with institutions, organizations, and professionals in the sector<\/strong>, as well as strengthen existing ones. Recently, we gathered with partner organizations to review the final steps of the project and discuss its positive impacts and areas for improvement. Many ideas for potential project continuations were proposed, with the hope of further supporting the work that state officials, social workers, and educators do every day.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>

An important conclusion we reached is that the transition from prison to society is not given enough attention. <\/strong>Fighting the stigma against individuals in conflict with the law is crucial for positive reintegration. Although Road to Freedom has concluded, we will continue to work on these issues, inspired by this project's experience, hoping to contribute to change and help people on their path to autonomy.<\/strong>
